We want to witness your talents and tomfoolery! Bring a song, poem, speech, skit, or any other variety of performance. Themes can include Laura + Gio, love, community, celebration, etc. Vibes can be sincere, silly, sappy, or whatever else is on your heart. Stay tuned for variety show sign-up instructions.

9:30 pm

May Eve Campfire

May Eve celebrates the transition from spring to summer, when people light bonfires to welcome the sun’s returning warmth, tell stories, and summon the abundance of the coming season. We’ll do all that, plus make roasty toasty s’mores!

Saturday, May 1

8:00 am

Coffee & Conversation

Meet us in the Milk Shed for coffee and breakfast sandwiches (extremely tasty), available for purchase. Pop on a record, play some cribbage, tackle a crossword, or settle into an adirondack chair for a chat with a new friend as the mist drifts across the meadow.

9:30 am

Yoga with Anja

Stretch it out and get grounded with us during an hour of all-levels yoga.

Until 2:30 pm

Bop Around the Lantern

Come and go as you please for a day of May Day–themed crafts, lawn games, and hanging out on the property. Note that lunch won’t be provided, so bring a picnic or grab something to eat nearby (suggestions below).

  • Finn River Farm & Cidery
  • Chimacum Corner Farmstand
  • Gear Head Deli
  • Further afield: Port Townsend Farmer’s Market
2:30 pm

Maypole Dancing

Maypole dancing is a feature of folk festivals around the world, including the Greenwald-Brown backyard May Day parties of yore. While music plays, dancers weave colorful ribbons around a maypole to symbolize the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, the union of feminine and masculine energies, and the cycles of life. It’s a great way to feel wild, whimsical, and connected to other members of the community.

3:00 pm

Wedding Ceremony

Help us get married!

4:00 pm

Aperitivo & Antipasti

Transition from ceremony to celebration and wake up your appetite.

5:30 pm

Pizza Dinner

Feast your eyes and tastebuds on pizza napoletana straight from the wood-fired oven. Our friends at Lupo (a favorite pizza spot in Seattle) will be slinging 100-year-old sourdough and local market salads for dinner on the lawn.

8–11 pm

Barn Party, Live Music & Dancing!

We REALLY hope you’ll join us on the dancefloor. Don your sparkly garb and let’s boogieeee!

Sunday, May 2

8:30 am

Quilcene Beach Hang & Cold Plunge

Join us for a wakeup call at the end of Linger Longer Road. Even if you don’t want to dip, come out for solidarity and a morning breath of fresh air.

9:00 am

Winddown Bagel Brunch

The party’s over, but life for us as a married couple held in community has just begun! Say farewell over a schmear of schmear, slice of lox, and healthy spoonful of capers.

12:00 pm

Final Departure

Get outta here! We love you, though.
